I work with women one-on-one through strategy sessions and monthly consulting. I'm based in Ottawa with my husband and two daughters. We we also own a few rental properties and run some Airbnbs because apparently I can't help myself.

A few of us had a good chat at our book club earlier this month about the book 'Long-Distance Real Estate Investing' by David Greene. This is quite a dense book packed with info, so there was lots to talk about. I learned a lot from this book, and it gave me some great ideas about how to improve my business. I will definitely be going back to this over and over while growing my real estate portfolio.
In honour of Women's History Month this March, we are reading 'The Only Woman in the Room' compiled by Ashley L. Wilson. We realized that we hadn't read any books by women since starting the book club (which is terrible) so we're going to start by reading this one! There's an audiobook too if that's more your style.
This book looks very interesting - it's a compilation of pieces written by various women real estate investors. In an industry historically dominated by men, it's time we had more women 'in the room'. 😉
